Pyramid Healthcare is launching a new outpatient program in Franklin, NC and is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide leadership, clinical oversight, and program development. This role is ideal for a licensed clinician who enjoys building services, mentoring staff, and maintaining high standards of care in a collaborative environment.


Position Summary

The Clinical Supervisor – Outpatient Services oversees all clinical operations for the program, ensuring treatment is delivered in alignment with Pyramid Healthcare’s standards and evidence-based practices. This position provides supervision to clinical staff, supports program development, and maintains a limited caseload as needed to support operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic and level-of-care assessments for incoming clients

  • Support counselors in developing, reviewing, and updating individualized treatment plans

  • Facilitate treatment team meetings and provide clinical case consultation

  • Provide individual and group supervision to counselors and assigned staff

  • Maintain a limited caseload to support program needs

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and enhance outpatient clinical programming

  • Ensure timely, accurate completion of all clinical documentation and client records

  • Foster a safe, therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention when needed

  • Oversee daily implementation of the clinical program schedule

  • Complete required trainings in accordance with Pyramid Healthcare and regulatory standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and training for clinical staff

  • Support professional development and adherence to best practices

  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and clinical excellence


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution

  • Licensure (required): Active North Carolina license as one of the following:

    • LCMHC

    • LCSW

    • LCAS

  • Experience:

    • Prior clinical supervision experience preferred

    • Experience in outpatient mental health, substance use, trauma-informed care, or related settings strongly preferred
