💲 $19 - $24 per hour
🕒 Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Pyramid Healthcare in Asheville is seeking a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our mission-driven team. If you're passionate about supporting individuals on their recovery journey and want to work in a structured, supportive environment, we’d love to connect with you.
💼 What You’ll Do
In this role, you will provide high-quality, client-centered substance use counseling through:

Facilitating individual, group, and family sessions

Conducting behavioral assessments and contributing to treatment planning

Completing accurate, timely clinical documentation in our electronic system

Supporting aftercare planning and collaborating with external providers
-
Assisting with crisis intervention as needed

Participating in team meetings, trainings, and collaborative clinical discussions

Helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
🎯 What You Bring

Required: CADC-I or CADC certification. LCAS or LCAS A

Education:
-
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a human services field

Accepted: High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree with CADC-I/CADC. Masters Degree with LCAS A or LCAS

A strong commitment to working with individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Experience with trauma-informed care or mental health treatment is a plus
