Pay Range: $60k-$75k

 

Summary: Responsible for providing leadership and support to counselors for all clinical services for the program as outlined by facility standards and in accordance with the clinical philosophy of the program.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates group therapy, including preparation of materials, through research and construction of curriculum as needed.
  • Evaluates behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs of clients and family members and consults with the treatment team regularly for the development of and progress towards treatment goals in accordance with clinical policy and accreditation guidelines.
  • Carries a limited caseload as deemed necessary.
  • Communicates with referral sources and company representatives regularly to strengthen relationships and address concerns/problems.
  • Works closely with the psychiatrist and nursing staff regarding medication management and evaluation of client mental health needs.
  • Manages client files by conducting scheduled audits to ensure proper documentation is present and all licensing regulations are met.
  • Facilitates and attends weekly treatment team meetings.
  • Assists staff and program scheduling as needed.
  • Conducts insurance reviews and assessments as needed.
  • Responsible for the intake process with new clients into the program as applicable.
  • Participates in on-call duties for the facility to assist line staff with client behavioral and emotional needs as applicable.
  • Oversees Family Programming including, but not limited to, the facilitation of psycho-educational programming as deemed appropriate.
  • Provides recommendations and assists in the coordination of aftercare planning for clients.
  • Assists Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Director with clerical duties and any other duties as assigned.
  • Completes all required trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

 

Licensure, Education, & Experience: Maryland ADT Status (Link) REQUIRED. Specialized training in: CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and collaborative documentation preferred.
