Housekeeper
📍 Location: Silvermist Recovery – Renfrew, PA
💰 Pay: $16 – $17 per hour
🕓 Schedule: Part-Time

Silvermist Recovery, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help create and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. Our housekeeping team plays a vital role in supporting a healing atmosphere by keeping all areas of our facility spotless, comfortable, and inviting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Clean and replace linens in client rooms following discharge according to prescribed timeframes.

Keep bathrooms stocked with fresh linens, toiletries, and other supplies.

Clean patient rooms, nursing units, clinical spaces, offices, restrooms, corridors, and common areas.

Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in proper containers.
-
Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and supplies safely and effectively.

Follow infection control practices, including handwashing, standard precautions, and isolation protocols.

Maintain high-quality standards while completing daily tasks on schedule.

Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification a plus.

Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.

Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to cleanliness and safety.
Physical Demands
-
Regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, stoop, and bend.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and carry up to 25 pounds.

Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.
Work Environment
-
Indoor environment with moderate noise level.

May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals and healthcare settings where clients are present.

Must be comfortable working in a behavioral health environment.
