Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time Overnight
📍 Freedom Detox – Gastonia, NC
💰 Pay: $35 – $39 per hour + $1.50 Overnight Shift Differential
🕐 Schedule: Full-Time | Overnight Shifts
Freedom Detox, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our full-time overnight team in Gastonia, NC. Our RNs play a crucial role in supporting individuals through the first critical steps of recovery from substance use disorders, ensuring clients receive safe, empathetic, and clinically sound care during detox.
What You’ll Do

Provide medical oversight and leadership for LPNs and support staff during overnight hours.

Complete initial nursing assessments for all new admissions.

Administer medications and manage withdrawal protocols in accordance with physician orders.

Conduct COWS and CIWA assessments per policy and update documentation accurately.

Educate clients about their medications and provide emotional and clinical support throughout detox.

Collaborate with medical providers and the treatment team for ongoing assessment and medication management.

Maintain medical supplies, ensure equipment readiness, and follow infection control procedures.

Uphold all Pyramid Healthcare and Freedom Detox standards, trainings, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
-
Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of North Carolina.

Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification.

Experience in behavioral health, detox, or substance use treatment preferred.

Familiarity with co-occurring disorders a plus.
