Pyramid Healthcare, a national leader in behavioral health and addiction treatment, is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Provider to join our respected Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Center in Allentown, PA. Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Schedule:
- Monday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
- Thursday: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, follow‑up appointments, and medication management.
- Review labs, monitor blood levels, and prepare discharge documentation (physician orders, prescriptions).
- Collaborate with and provide support to clinical staff to ensure high-quality client care.
- Coordinate care and communicate with the interdisciplinary team as appropriate.
- Manage and complete the peer review process.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health professional
- 2+ years of experience in psychiatric medicine
- Knowledge of continuous improvement practices
- Knowledge of co-occurring disorders and SUD treatment
- Knowledge of HIPAA laws, CARF standards, OMH, and DDAP regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Prefered Qualifications
- Experience in Drug and Alcohol Services
