Pay: $15.00 per hour (before shift differentials)
Shift Differentials:
- 1st Shift (Saturday and Sunday): $1.00
- 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday): $1.00; (Saturday and Sunday): $1.50
- 3rd Shift (Monday - Friday): $1.50; (Saturday and Sunday): $1.50
Summary: In this essential role, you will contribute to the delivery of both residential and outpatient treatment services. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will interact with and supervise clients in treatment, ensuring a supportive and safe environment. Your efforts will assist our clinical and administrative teams in identifying and addressing client needs, making a meaningful impact on their recovery journey.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete the intake process for new clients entering the program.
- Maintain accurate client documentation to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
- Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.
- Coordinate and facilitate client activities to promote engagement and recovery.
- Follow treatment plan objectives and address client-specific needs.
- Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients, providing appropriate responses, including crisis intervention.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment for clients.
- Assist with the dietary needs of clients to ensure their well-being.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma required; experience in behavioral health or general healthcare preferred.
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.
Employment Information: Due to the nature of behavioral healthcare work and our commitment to ensuring client safety, candidates selected for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state-mandated clearances. Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting-body regulations.
