Part-Time | Travel Required | Hourly Rate Based on Experience

Inspire Healing Through Art and Expression
High Focus Centers, a trusted leader in behavioral healthcare, is seeking a part-time Art Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role will provide support across several of our outpatient locations and requires travel between sites.

High Focus Centers has a strong history of delivering quality outpatient care in southeastern Pennsylvania through its programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. Our individualized treatment approach serves both adults and adolescents managing mental health, substance use, and eating disorders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group art therapy sessions using expressive and trauma-informed practices

  • Prepare materials and therapeutic spaces for session delivery

  • Collaborate with clinical teams to support coordinated treatment planning

  • Assess clients’ behavioral and emotional needs and contribute to therapeutic goals

  • Complete documentation in accordance with program timelines, in coordination with primary therapists

  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and clinical supervision as required

  • Maintain a safe, structured, and ethical therapeutic environment, including appropriate crisis intervention

  • Travel regularly between locations

  • Assist in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

  • Perform other duties as needed to support effective clinical care


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Art Therapy required

  • ATR or ATR-BC certification required

  • LPC or LCSW preferred, but not required

  • Trauma-Informed Art Therapy or Expressive Arts Therapy Certification preferred

  • Demonstrated experience working with mental health, substance use, and/or eating disorders

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

  • Ability to manage a flexible caseload and travel between program sites
