Tapestry in Lake Ariel, PA, is currently seeking Full-Time Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) for our Overnight Shift. The potential schedule is as follows:

 

3rd Shift Pay: $17 per hour, with an additional shift differential of $1.50 for overnight workers, bringing the total to $18.50 per hour.

 

Our Behavioral Health Technicians play a vital role in the daily operations of our facility by performing essential tasks such as positively engaging with our clients, supporting them with daily treatment programming, and fulfilling various responsibilities that contribute to their recovery journey. Job Duties:

  • Assist with the intake process for new clients entering the program.
  • Communicate with staff members, either verbally or through communication logs, and maintain detailed client logs.
  • Listen to clients regarding all areas of their treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment, including crisis intervention.
  • Coordinate activities for clients.
  • Conduct mandatory bed checks as required by the department and complete the bed-check sheet for shift reporting.
  • Ensure that the client schedule is followed daily.
  • Assist with interventions involving clients.
  • Adhere to the objectives outlined in treatment plans.
  • Monitor the medication line.
  • Conduct searches upon intake or as required.
  • Monitor treatment for necessary safety and medical needs.
  • Uphold therapeutic boundaries and adhere to the Staff Code of Ethics.

Education and Experience:

 

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver’s license is preferred. While some mental health experience is beneficial, this position can be entry-level. Experience in facilitating groups or activities is preferred but not mandatory.
