Licensed Counselor (LCMHC, LCMHC-A, LCSW, LCSW-A)
Location: Fletcher, NC (Currently Brevard, NC until July/August transition)
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday
Pay: $58,000 – $68,000 per year (based on licensure and experience)

About Tapestry:
Tapestry is a respected provider of behavioral health services with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate, client-centered care. We are currently seeking a Licensed Counselor to join our dedicated team at our Adult Women's Mental Health treatment facility. This is an exciting time to join us as we prepare to move from our Brevard location to a brand-new facility in Fletcher, NC later this summer.

Position Summary:
The Licensed Counselor plays a key role in assessing and addressing the mental health needs of adult women in a structured, supportive environment. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and deliver a full range of clinical services that empower clients on their recovery journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations addressing behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social factors.

  • Facilitate individual therapy, family sessions, and therapeutic groups.

  • Coordinate care with external providers and referral sources.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with EHR and program standards.

  • Participate in utilization review processes and support aftercare planning.

  • Assist with curriculum development and staff training initiatives.

  • Share in on-call rotation duties as assigned.

  • Provide crisis intervention and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

  • Licensure required: LCMHC, LCMHC-A, LCSW, or LCSW-A in the state of North Carolina.

  • Experience in mental health, trauma, eating disorders, or substance use treatment is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to commute reliably to Brevard until relocation to Fletcher is complete.
