Now Hiring: ACTT Team Leads (2 Openings)

We are actively hiring licensed clinical leaders for two ACTT Team Lead roles:

  • ACTT Clinical Team Lead – Serving the Mars Hill ACTT program

  • ACTT Dual Diagnosis Team Lead – Supporting a specialized co-occurring disorders team (Asheville-based, serving Buncombe County)

Both roles offer the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering high-impact, community-based care.


Position Summary

The ACTT Team Lead provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for an ACTT program, ensuring high-quality, recovery-oriented services. This role partners closely with psychiatric providers and multidisciplinary staff while balancing leadership responsibilities with direct clinical involvement.

Team Leads play a key role in staff supervision, program development, and maintaining fidelity to the ACTT model, while supporting individuals with complex mental health and substance use needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership in collaboration with psychiatric providers

  • Supervise, coach, and support multidisciplinary ACTT team members

  • Ensure fidelity to the ACTT model and TMACT standards

  • Oversee assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning

  • Support or provide individual, group, and family therapy services

  • Monitor team workflows, productivity, and service coordination

  • Facilitate communication between staff, clients, families, and community partners

  • Maintain relationships with referral sources, stakeholders, and payors

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation

  • Participate actively in direct client care and team-based services


Qualifications

Education & Licensure

  • Master’s Degree in Human Services or related field

  • Active North Carolina clinical license (or eligibility), such as:

    • LCSW / LCSWA

    • LCMHC / LCMHCA

    • LMFT

    • Licensed Psychologist / LPA

    • PMHNP or Psychiatric CNS

👉 For Dual Diagnosis Team Lead:

  • LCAS or LCAS A required (may be combined with LCSW(A) or LCMHC(A))


Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience with serious mental illness

  • At least 2 years post-graduate experience

  • Experience providing individual, group, and/or family therapy

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with co-occurring disorders highly preferred
