Vocational Specialist – ACTT Team
📍 Charlotte, NC
💰 $24.50 per hour
🗓️ Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and motivated Vocational Specialist to join our ACTT Team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you’ll support clients in achieving meaningful employment goals while collaborating with a multidisciplinary mental health team to ensure comprehensive, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide employment-focused support, including job exploration, job development, and ongoing employment coaching to help clients obtain and maintain meaningful work.

  • Collaborate closely with ACTT team members to integrate vocational goals into comprehensive treatment plans.

  • Build and maintain relationships with community employers and stay informed about local job market trends and vocational resources.

  • Support clients in developing skills that enhance readiness for competitive employment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Vocational Rehabilitation, Psychology, or a related human services field from an accredited institution.

  • Must meet Qualified Professional (QP) status per 10A NCAC 27G.0104.

  • Experience in vocational services, employment rehabilitation, or related training required.

  • Licensure or certification as a Qualified Professional (QP), as applicable in North Carolina.

  • 1–3 years of experience supporting individuals with persistent mental illness preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster client growth.
