Adult Mental Health Counselor (IOP/Outpatient)

Location: High Focus Centers – Exton, PA
High Focus Centers in Exton is a leading provider of outpatient behavioral healthcare. Our Adult Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) supports individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. Through a structured, therapeutic environment, we help clients build coping skills, develop stability, and progress toward long-term recovery.

Facilitate outpatient group therapy sessions for adults addressing mental health needs, utilizing CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based modalities.

Conduct 6–8 clinical assessments per week, determining appropriate level of care and treatment needs.

Provide individual therapy.

Collaborate with clients, families (when appropriate), and the treatment team to create individualized treatment plans with measurable outcomes.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and ensure high-quality care.

Complete insurance reviews and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.

Support program operations and assist with other duties as assigned.

Education: Master’s degree in Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, with the completion of a clinically based internship/practicum required.

Experience: Prior clinical experience working with adults in a mental health treatment setting strongly preferred.

Familiarity with CBT, DBT, and evidence-based practices is a plus.
