We are currently seeking Behavioral Health Technician Drivers to support our clients and staff. The Behavioral Health Technician Driver is an integral part of our clients’ well-being and our daily operations. The BHT is the frontline support to our clients, going through every motion of the day with our clients. Hourly Rate: $14/hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete the intake process with new clients into program
  • Maintains client documentation
  • Observe an document client self-administration of medication as applicable
  • Coordination of client activities
  • Follows objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
  • Provide client transportation
  • Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides response including crisis intervention
  • Maintains safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
  • Assists with the dietary needs of clients
  • Transport clients to and from specified locations within expected time frames
  • Supervise and support clients while transporting
  • Maintain all necessary documentation associated with services provided
  • Complete all required trainings
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience
  • Valid driver’s license in state of hire with safe driving record
  • Current CPR, AED and First Aid required
