Silvermist Recovery is actively looking for a Overnight Behavioral Health Technician to become part of our exceptional team in Renfrew, PA. This position plays a crucial role in the provision of both residential and outpatient treatment services.

As a direct care professional, your primary responsibilities will include interacting with and supervising clients undergoing treatment, as well as providing transportation services for Pyramid Healthcare clients. You will work closely with both clinical and administrative teams to identify and meet client needs.

Compensation: $17 - $17.50 per hour plus shift differential of up to $1.50 per hour
Schedule: 11:30pm - 8am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete the intake process for new clients entering the program.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation.
  • Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.
  • Coordinate client activities.
  • Follow treatment plan objectives tailored to individual client needs.
  • Provide transportation for clients.
  • Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and respond appropriately, including crisis intervention.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment.
  • Assist with the dietary needs of clients.
  • Transport clients to and from designated locations within expected time frames.
  • Supervise and support clients during transportation.
  • Maintain all necessary documentation related to services provided.
  • Complete all required training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of hire with a safe driving record.
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are required.
