Behavioral Health Tech Supervisor

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor (BHT Supervisor) to lead and support our Behavioral Health Technician team at our Duncasville Inpatient facility. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in mental health, addiction recovery, or healthcare supervision who are passionate about making a meaningful impact.
As a frontline leader, the BHT Supervisor plays a critical role in staff development, client support, and daily operations within a residential treatment setting.
Pay & Schedule
Wednesday-Saturday, 2 pm-12 am
$17.50/hr (shift differentials available)
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise and provide direct oversight to Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs)
- Train, mentor, and onboard new staff
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and performance management
- Conduct employee evaluations and corrective action planning
- Develop and manage staff schedules
Client Care & Program Support
- Support client interventions and daily therapeutic activities
- Ensure adherence to individualized treatment plans
- Assist with client safety procedures, including inventory and compliance protocols
- Help coordinate recreational, educational, and group activities
Operations & Compliance
- Maintain communication logs and staff updates
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and regulatory standards
- Attend treatment team meetings and facility-wide meetings
- Identify training needs and support continuous improvement
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or healthcare preferred
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience is a plus
Certifications
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (required)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage crisis situations and ensure client safety
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of behavioral health regulations and compliance standards
- Commitment to ethical practices and professional boundaries
