Behavioral Health Technician Driver Part Time Weekends

Our Behavioral Health Technician serves in a direct care role with the primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment, as well as providing transportation services for Pyramid Healthcare clients. Located in Harford County, Maryland, our Joppa Inpatient program offers treatment paths for both men and women for substance use disorders, methamphetamine and other stimulant use, co-occurring disorders, and includes a methadone maintenance program for opioid addiction. Under a passionate leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare in Harford provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc., defined by supportive environments that offer patients the strength they need to overcome life’s challenges. This allows clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim their health and well-being.
Hourly Rate: $15/hour
Schedule: Sat-Sun/ 12 hrs weekly / with opportunities to pick up shift coverage on alternative days
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete the intake process with new clients into the program
- Maintain client documentation
- Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable
- Coordinate client activities
- Follow objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
- Provide client transportation
- Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses, including crisis intervention
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
- Assist with the dietary needs of clients
- Transport clients to and from specified locations within expected time frames
- Supervise and support clients while transporting
- Maintain all necessary documentation associated with services provided
- Complete all required training.
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Licensure: High School Diploma required. Valid driver’s license in Maryland with a safe driving record.
