Our new adult residential detox program in Concord, MA provides 24/7 stabilization and structured care for adult clients beginning their recovery journey. This is an opportunity to join a program at launch and gain valuable experience in residential SUD treatment.
Position Summary
We are seeking dependable PRN Behavioral Health Technicians / Recovery Support Specialists to provide flexible coverage across all shifts within our residential detox behavioral health program serving adult clients with SUD and co-occurring disorders.
This role helps maintain a safe, therapeutic environment while supporting daily routines, recovery engagement, and client safety throughout the detox and residential treatment process.
Key Responsibilities

Support admissions and orientation for adult residential detox clients

Monitor safety and complete routine wellness checks in a behavioral health setting

Document observations and interactions in EMR/shift logs

Provide supportive interactions to individuals experiencing SUD withdrawal and co-occurring disorders

Assist with groups, activities, and recovery programming (including 12-step support)

Monitor medication line under nursing supervision

Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation

Maintain structure and expectations within the residential treatment milieu

Transport clients to appointments or activities as needed

Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to ensure quality care
Qualifications

Preferred: High school diploma or GED
- Preferred: Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, detox, SUD treatment, or recovery support
Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
