Pyramid Healthcare Ridgeview in Gibsonia is actively seeking a Part Time Cook to enhance our dedicated kitchen staff. Our facility in Gibsonia serves as a 42-bed residential treatment center for adults, where our exceptional kitchen team prepares three nutritious meals daily for our clients.

PAY RANGE $14-$16
- Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
- Slice and chop food in accordance with meal requirements
- Prepare fresh salads
- Portion desserts into containers
- Stock juices and milk
- Assist the Lead Cook as needed
- Serve meals to clients
- Ensure timely placement of food on the serving line
- Follow the assigned menu while adhering to sanitary guidelines
- Restock cups, napkins, forks, and spoons
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
- Clean table tops and the dining area after each meal
- Record daily temperatures of the refrigeration system and food
- Perform cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor, including sweeping and mopping the kitchen and cafeteria
- Accept food deliveries and follow proper procedures for checking in food orders
- Other duties as assigned
Technical Competencies: - Good personal hygiene
- Ability to maintain a clean kitchen and adhere to controlled food portions
- Reliable work attendance
- Prior dietary experience or training is preferred
- Willingness to learn and attend required training sessions
- Knowledge in food preparation
- Education and Experience:
- ServSafe Certification
- Previous food service experience is preferred
- Job-related Behavioral Characteristics:
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Flexible schedule
