Summary
Pyramid Healthcare Ridgeview in Gibsonia is seeking a Part-Time Cook to assist our kitchen staff. Our program in Gibsonia is a 42-bed residential treatment center for adults. Our amazing kitchen team prepares three meals a day for our clients. If you are a cook, diet aide, or interested in gaining cooking experience, we invite you to apply for this great opportunity. Shift:
10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Pay:
$15/hr
Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
- Slice and chop food according to meal
- Prepare salads
- Portion desserts in containers
- Stock juices and milk
- Assist Lead Cook when asked
- Serve meals to clients
- Place food on serving line on time
- Follow assigned menu using sanitary guidelines
- Restock cups, napkins, forks, and spoons
- Keep work areas clean
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
- Clean tabletops and dining area after each meal
- Record daily temperatures of refrigeration system and food temperatures
- Perform cleaning duties assigned by supervisor, including sweeping and mopping kitchen and cafeteria
- Accept food deliveries and follow correct procedures when checking in food orders
- Other duties as assigned
Technical Competencies:
- Good personal hygiene
- Ability to keep kitchen clean and adhere to controlled portions of food
- Respectable work attendance
- Prior dietary experience or training
- Willingness to learn and attend required trainings
- Knowledge in food preparation
Education, Experience:
ServSafe Certification; previous food service experience preferred
