Part-Time Cook

Pyramid Healthcare Ridgeview is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Cook to join our kitchen team. Our Gibsonia program is a 42-bed residential treatment center for adults, where our kitchen staff prepares three meals each day for our clients.
This opportunity is ideal for someone seeking part-time work, additional income, or hands-on experience in food service while working in a rewarding behavioral healthcare environment.
.What You’ll Do
• Slice and chop food according to the assigned meal. • Prepare salads and portion desserts into containers. • Stock juices, milk, cups, napkins, forks, and spoons. • Assist the Lead Cook as needed. • Serve meals to clients. • Place food on the serving line on time. • Follow assigned menus and sanitary food-handling guidelines. • Keep kitchen and work areas clean and organized. • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. • Clean tabletops and dining areas after each meal. • Record daily refrigeration and food temperatures. • Sweep and mop the kitchen and cafeteria as assigned. • Accept food deliveries and follow proper procedures when checking in food orders. • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
• ServSafe certification preferred or required according to program needs. • Previous dietary or food service experience preferred. • Knowledge of food preparation and portion control. • Good personal hygiene and commitment to sanitary practices. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Reliable attendance and willingness to attend required training. • Ability to maintain a clean kitchen environment. • Flexible availability and willingness to work a part-time schedule. • Ability to work cooperatively with kitchen and treatment center staff.
Employment Requirements
Selected candidates must successfully complete any required background checks, drug screening, and state-mandated clearances. Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting-body regulations.
