Location: High Focus Centers – Jenkintown, PA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (In-person)
Compensation: $50,000 – $55,000/year (commensurate with experience and credentials)

About Us
High Focus Centers in Jenkintown is a trusted provider of outpatient behavioral healthcare, offering comprehensive programs for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Our compassionate, multidisciplinary team supports adults through structured, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s recovery journey.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Counselor to join our Adult Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This full-time, daytime role involves providing group and individual therapy for adults experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.
The Counselor will conduct assessments, lead therapeutic groups, collaborate with the treatment team, and support clients as they build the skills needed for long-term stability and success.
Key Responsibilities

Facilitate IOP group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychoeducation)

Provide individual counseling as clinically appropriate

Conduct intake and level-of-care assessments (6–8 per week)

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team

Participate in daily team meetings to review progress and coordinate care

Complete insurance reviews and maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation

Support overall program operations and assist with clinical needs as required
Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field (required)

Completion of a clinically based internship or practicum (required)

Prior experience providing therapy to adults in a mental health or higher level of care setting (preferred)

Familiarity with evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression, and mood disorders
