Location: High Focus Centers – Jenkintown, PA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (In-person)
Compensation: $50,000 – $55,000/year (commensurate with experience and credentials)

Position Overview
We are seeking a flexible and compassionate Counselor to float between two Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP): the Adult Mental Health PHP and the Women’s Trauma PHP. This full-time role involves providing group and individual therapy, conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet the unique clinical needs of each population.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, trauma-informed, and comfortable working with both general adult mental health concerns and trauma-specific issues affecting women in a structured, higher level of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily PHP group therapy sessions for adults and/or women in trauma-focused care using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, CPT)

• Provide individual counseling as clinically appropriate

• Conduct intake and level-of-care assessments (6–8 per week)

• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans

• Participate in daily clinical team meetings to review progress and coordinate care

• Complete insurance reviews and maintain timely, compliant clinical documentation

• Support program needs across both tracks and assist with clinical coverage as needed

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field (required)

• Completion of a clinically based internship or practicum (required)

• Experience working with adult mental health and/or trauma treatment (preferred)

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for mood disorders, anxiety, and PTSD

• Trauma-informed care training or certification is a plus
