Summary:

Pyramid Healthcare’s Detox and Residential Treatment Center in Hammonton, NJ offers a trauma-informed, person-centered approach to help men and women achieve long-term recovery. Our evidence-based treatment includes group therapy, individual counseling, and elective groups, all designed to support a smooth transition to a sober lifestyle. We prioritize easy access to care by striving for same-day admissions for withdrawal management and residential treatment. The role is responsible for facilitating clinical support services for the program as outlined by facility standards and in accordance with the philosophy of the program.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm 

Pay: $21 - $25/hr 

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and develop resident treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues, and other staff.
  • Evaluate and address behavioral and emotional needs of clients.
  • Complete level of care assessments in a timely manner with the client.
  • Refer clients to the next appropriate aftercare upon completion of treatment.
  • Perform individual and process group therapy sessions, including preparing materials for sessions.
  • Communicate with referral sources and company representatives.
  • Participate in community meetings with clients.
  • Complete family sessions as necessary.
  • Receive phone calls from support staff as necessary regarding client behavioral and emotional needs.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients, including crisis intervention.

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services field) or other related field.
  • Or a Bachelor’s Degree with the same educational requirements and 1 year of clinical experience.
  • Or an Associate’s Degree with the same educational requirements and 2 years of clinical experience.
