Counselor Lead

We offer behavioral healthcare services – psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. – that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.
Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
- Responsible for providing leadership and support to counselors and tech staff.
- Co-facilitating group therapy, carrying a limited caseload as deemed necessary.
- Communicating with referral sources and company representatives regularly to strengthen relationships and address concerns/problems.
- Performs regular audits for the maintenance of client files through audits
- Collaborates with nursing staff for medication management and client medical needs
- Facilitates and attends weekly treatment team meetings.
- As needed, conducts insurance reviews and assessments.
- Responsible for intake process with new clients into program.
- Participates in on-call duties for the facility to assist line staff with client behavioral and emotional needs.
- Oversees Family Programming including but not limited to the facilitation of psycho-educational programming.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Licensure/Experience:
- A Master’s Degree in a human services or related field.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a human services or related field and 1 year of clinical experience.
- An Associate’s Degree in a human services or related field and 2 years of clinical experience.
- Full certification as an addictions counselor by a statewide certification body, which is a member of a National certification body or certification by another state government’s substance abuse counseling certification board.
