Pay range 55k-60k
Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
• Responsible for providing leadership and support to counselors and tech staff.
• Co-facilitating group therapy, including preparation of materials, through research and construction of curriculum.
• Carrying a limited caseload as deemed necessary.
• Communicating with referral sources and company representatives regularly to strengthen relationships and address concerns/problems.
• Working closely with the psychiatrist and nursing staff regarding medication management and evaluation of client mental health needs.
• Managing client files by conducting scheduled audits to ensure proper documentation is present and all licensing regulations are met.
• Facilitating and attending weekly treatment team meetings.
• Scheduling and conducting staff meetings with clients and staff.
• As needed, conducting insurance reviews and assessments.
• Attending Clinical Team, Facility Team, and Company meetings.
• Attending court hearings when applicable.
• Responsible for the intake process with new clients into the program.
• Participating in on-call duties for the facility to assist line staff with client behavioral and emotional needs.
• Listening to clients concerning all areas of treatment, including assistance with the grievance process.
• Maintaining a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients, including crisis intervention.
• Overseeing Family Programming, including but not limited to the facilitation of psycho-educational programming.
• Providing recommendations and assisting in the coordination of aftercare planning for clients.
• Assisting the Clinical Supervisor with clerical duties and any other duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
Technical Competencies: Capable of role modeling to the clients. Helps to maintain a strong clinical program.
Able to work collaboratively with staff to effectively meet the needs of the clients. Maintains positive relationships with
referral sources and families. Charts maintain compliance with licensing regulations. Completes required
trainings and mandatory training hours. Strong clinical skills in D&A and mental health treatment, stages of
change, motivational interviewing, CBT, relapse prevention, and treatment planning. Sound knowledge of mental
health treatment including proficient DSM-IV knowledge. Knowledgeable of psychotropic medications. A working
knowledge of HIPAA, DDAP, RTFA, and CARF regulations.
Education, Experience:
1) A Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services field), or other related field.
2) A Bachelor’s Degree with the same educational requirements and 1 year of clinical experience.
3) An Associate’s Degree with the same educational requirements and 2 years of clinical experience.
4) Must be a CSC-AD or higher (CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LCPC, LCSW, LGADC, LCADC)
