Counselor (Full-Time)
📍 Silver Ridge – Mills River, NC
💰 $58,000 – $67,000/year (depending on licensure and position)
Silver Ridge, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking passionate and dedicated Counselors to join our team in Mills River, NC. We specialize in providing clinically effective addiction treatment for established, midlife adults (ages 35+) who are navigating substance use challenges.
At Silver Ridge, we take a holistic, evidence-based approach to recovery—using therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Therapy—while fostering personal growth in a safe and supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

Provide clinical services including individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

Assess behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of clients and families.

Collaborate with the treatment team to develop, implement, and monitor treatment goals in line with CARF guidelines.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic clinical records.

Support utilization review processes and contribute to aftercare planning.

Assist with curriculum development, training, and program improvements.

Participate in the on-call rotation as assigned.

Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and respond effectively to crisis situations.
Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (required).

Active or provisional licensure: LCSW(A), LCMHC(A), or LCAS(A).

Willingness to pursue LCAS required if not already held.

Experience in mental health, trauma, eating disorders, or substance use treatment (preferred).

Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
