High Focus Centers, a leading provider of outpatient behavioral healthcare, is seeking a part-time Dance/Music Therapist to join our team in the Greater Philadelphia area. This position supports programming across multiple sites and requires travel between locations.

We’re looking for a creative and compassionate professional who can use dance/movement and music therapy to support emotional, cognitive, and social growth in individuals receiving behavioral health treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using dance/movement and music therapy techniques

• Prepare and organize materials for therapeutic sessions

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to support client treatment goals

• Assess clients’ emotional and behavioral needs to guide session planning

• Document sessions and collaborate with primary therapists to support treatment planning

• Participate in staff meetings, clinical trainings, and supervision as needed

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and ethical therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention when necessary

• Travel between High Focus Centers locations throughout the Greater Philadelphia region

• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and support program goals

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy, Music Therapy, or a related field required

• BC-DMT or MT-BC certification preferred; candidates actively working toward certification will be considered

• LPC or LCSW preferred, but not required

• Familiarity with multiple creative arts modalities is a plus

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Willingness to travel between multiple office locations as needed

• Availability for 15–20 hours per week, depending on program needs
