Location: Newport News, VA
Schedule:

Position 1: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Position 2: Flexible day shift (start ~9:00 AM until route completion), must work weekends; likely days off Wednesday & Thursday
Pay Rate: $15/hour

Position Summary
Our Drivers are the first and last point of contact for many of our clients, making this role essential in creating a positive experience. You will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for individuals receiving behavioral healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities

Safely transport patients to and from behavioral healthcare facilities

Maintain a secure environment for patients, yourself, and others during transport

Provide professional, courteous, and empathetic customer service at all times
-
Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and team members
-
Follow all transportation policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Monitor and assist patients as needed during transport
-
Maintain knowledge of the transportation system and reporting processes
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
-
CPR certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)

Completion of safety training upon hire

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately

Comfortable with frequent and extended drives

Ability to sit for prolonged periods
-
Excellent customer service skills, including in high-pressure situations
