Executive Director LCAS/LCSW – Substance Use Disorder Services

📍 Jacksonville, NC
💰 Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 annually
🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our newest program in Jacksonville, NC. This is a key leadership role responsible for the overall operational, financial, clinical, and regulatory success of a substance use disorder treatment facility.


Position Summary

The Executive Director provides strategic and day-to-day leadership to ensure high-quality, client-centered care while driving program growth, employee engagement, and financial performance. This role collaborates closely with corporate support services and community stakeholders to ensure compliance, excellence, and sustainability.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to promote program growth and adapt to marketplace changes

  • Build, mentor, and lead a strong management team focused on collaboration, accountability, and staff development

  • Establish a welcoming, client-centered treatment environment

Operations & Performance

  • Oversee all operational, financial, clinical, and administrative functions of the facility

  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators related to access to care, client engagement, employee engagement, clinical outcomes, and financial metrics

  • Lead and participate in Performance Improvement initiatives

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure all programming and operations meet regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards (including CARF)

  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal support services and external stakeholders

Communication & Culture

  • Establish consistent program-level communication, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports and staff meetings

  • Strengthen onboarding processes and lead employee retention and engagement initiatives

Financial Oversight

  • Develop and manage the program budget, monitoring expenditures and financial performance

Additional Duties

  • Participate in operations meetings, organizational workgroups, and task forces

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Provide training, coaching, and day-to-day leadership support to program staff


Qualifications

Required

  • Master’s degree

  • Active LCAS

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of management experience

  • Experience overseeing healthcare or behavioral health programs

Preferred

  • Experience managing large or multi-site healthcare programs

  • Dual licensure: LCAS with LCSW or LCMHC
