Lead Housekeeper (Full Time)

Summary
Creates and maintains a welcoming environment for all clients, staff, and visitors by performing routine cleaning of patient rooms, clinical areas, nursing units, offices, waiting areas, lounges, restrooms, and corridors.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Facilities Sup/Housekeeping Sup with scheduling and shift coverage.
- Clean and replace linens in client bedrooms following discharge according to prescribed timeframes.
- Keep bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries and other supplies.
- Empty trash receptacles and disposes of waste in proper receptacles.
- Completes work assignments in a timely manner using checklists to communicate completeness.
- Uses the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
- Observes safety precautions.
- Follows all infection control practices including hand washing techniques, Standard Precautions, and isolation precautions.
- Maintains high quality standards when performing work duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Licensure, Education, & Experience (All States)
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Housekeeping experience preferred
- Current CPR, AED and First Aid
