Nurse RN/LPN

Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Lake Ariel, PA
Schedule: Full-Time – Three 12-Hour Day Shifts Per Week (Weekends Required; Varied Days Based on Operational Need)
Compensation: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour (based on license, experience, and qualifications)

Tapestry, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated team at our residential treatment center in Lake Ariel, PA. Our nursing team plays a vital role in supporting adult clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete initial nursing assessments upon client admission.

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

• Implement and monitor detox protocols safely and effectively.

• Conduct COWS (Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale) and CIWA (Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment) assessments per clinical guidelines.

• Provide medication education and support to clients.

• Assist and coordinate with medical providers during assessments and medication management appointments.

• Maintain medical equipment in good working order.

• Uphold confidentiality, therapeutic boundaries, and professional ethics at all times.

• Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Certifications: CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid required.

• Experience:

  • At least one year of experience in a behavioral health or residential treatment setting preferred.

  • Experience with substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent clinical judgment and nursing skills.

• Ability to assess, analyze, and respond to client needs effectively, especially in crisis situations.

• Knowledge of federal, state, and accrediting body regulations and standards (e.g., DHS, CARF, The Joint Commission).

• Professionalism, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills when working with diverse populations.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Primarily indoor, moderately quiet environment.

• Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

• May require walking, climbing stairs, standing, and sitting for extended periods.

• Potential exposure to infection, disease, or traumatic psychiatric situations.

• Must provide own reliable transportation to and from the facility.
