Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Part Time

Summary: Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the day shift, providing essential nursing care in a detox and stabilization environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support clients through the detoxification process, ensuring their safety and well-being during the day.
Shift/Schedule: Part-Time | (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
Compensation: $25–$29 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Conduct nursing assessments for admissions during day hours.
- Administer medications in accordance with medical protocols and monitor client response.
- Apply detox protocols and perform regular COWS and CIWA assessments as needed.
- Monitor vital signs, document observations, and respond to emergent needs.
- Provide support and reassurance to clients during detox and stabilization.
- Communicate with on-call providers and assist with medical needs during the day.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment during day hours.
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in the state of Virginia.
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute, residential, or outpatient care setting.
- Preferred: Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment.
