Our Concord, MA treatment center specializes in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment for adults and is focused on providing a safe, supportive, and healing-centered environment for clients throughout their recovery journey. Position Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team and support the medical needs of adult clients in residential substance use treatment. The LPN plays a key role in client care through nursing assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with the broader clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial nursing assessments for new admissions
- Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and side effects
- Deliver care in alignment with detoxification protocols
- Complete COWS and CIWA assessments in accordance with protocols
- Provide education to clients regarding medications and health conditions
- Support medical providers during assessments and medication management appointments
- Maintain proper documentation and uphold strict confidentiality
- Ensure medical equipment is functioning properly and safely
- Support overall facility operations with professionalism and compassion
- Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of Massachusetts
- Certifications: Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certification required
- Experience: At least one year in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting preferred
- Preferred: Background working with co-occurring disorders and detox protocols
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay: $34–$35/hour (based on experience)
