Maintenance Manager (Full Time)

Summary:
Manage maintenance of facility and equipment, including preventative maintenance and urgent repair needs.
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm / 8:00am - 4:00pm - Shifts may vary (On-Call as needed).
Pay: $45,000 - $50,000 based on previous experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a staff of maintenance technicians and housekeepers (10 staff members).
- Provide oversight, supervision, training, and hiring for all team members, including housekeeping tasks, facility cleanliness, and maintenance projects.
- Complete a variety of remodeling tasks and ensure a safe and secure working/living environment for the facility.
- Inform management regarding facility issues.
- Handle and/or supervise snow removal and landscaping.
- Respond to off-hours facility emergencies/on-call as necessary.
- Participate in risk management at a corporate level.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly reports, as well as maintain the budget.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Building, NFPA, CARF/Life Safety Codes, and regulations.
- Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, building, painting, and heating.
- Past experience with building codes and/or construction.
- Relevant managerial experience.
- Experience with budgeting, reporting, and supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze information.
- Ability to handle a crisis situation and react appropriately.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and perform various physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, stooping, twisting, kneeling, or crouching.
- Specific vision capabilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Moderate local travel required; must have own transportation.
- Ability to work in an environment that may expose the incumbent to virus, disease, and/or infection from clients.
