As we continue to grow in Concord, NC, we are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
Position Summary
The Medical Provider delivers high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions. This role collaborates closely with clinical leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care across all levels of treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct medical care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Conduct psychiatric and medical evaluations for clients in detox and residential settings
- Collaborate with Program Director, Clinical Director, and clinical team to support client outcomes
- Coordinate care with external providers, including primary care, hospitals, and community partners
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards
- Respond effectively to crisis situations and support stabilization efforts
Qualifications
Licensure & Experience:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of experience in substance use disorder and/or behavioral health treatment
- Experience working with co-occurring disorders preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Sound judgment and crisis intervention skills
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards
