Outpatient Therapist - Adult Counselor – Part-Time
Location: High Focus Centers – Northeast Philadelphia, PA
High Focus Centers is a trusted provider of outpatient behavioral health services in southeastern Pennsylvania, offering comprehensive and individualized care through our specialized programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. We serve adults and adolescents with a focus on mental health, eating disorders, and co-occurring concerns.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Adult Counselor to join our Northeast Philadelphia clinical team. Position Overview
The Adult Counselor will be responsible for:

Providing individual outpatient therapy to adult clients

Facilitating group therapy sessions for adult clients
-
Conducting clinical assessments and developing person-centered treatment plans
-
Collaborating with referral sources and other supports to promote client progress
-
Monitoring behavioral and emotional needs and adjusting treatment as clinically indicated

Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
-
Participating in clinical meetings and care coordination
-
Supporting program goals and performing additional clinical duties as assigned

Expertise in adult mental health and co-occurring conditions

Strong assessment and treatment planning skills

Ability to engage clients in therapeutic work tailored to their needs

Effective communication with referral sources and care teams

Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations

Commitment to ethical standards and clinical best practices
Qualifications
Required:

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field

Completion of a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting
Preferred:

Experience providing therapy to adults in outpatient settings
