Psychiatrist (Part Time)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Include doing psychiatric evaluations and follow ups, reviewing labs, monitoring blood levels, medication management, preparing discharges (physician orders, scripts).
- Provides support and resources to the clinical staff as needed.
- Coordination with clinical staff and the primary care physician when appropriate.
- Responsibility to coordinate and complete the peer review process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience:
- Board Certified Psychiatric- Mental Health
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Psychiatric Medicine.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
- Awareness and understanding of regulating bodies (CARF, Office of Mental Health, DDAP) strong background in Psychiatric or D&A and Co-Occurring Disorders, knowledge of HIPPA laws, state licensing regulations, trainings as required.
- Strong computer skills required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
