Deliverable/Responsibilities:

  • Implement Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP) and ABA-based interventions
  • Guide and support staff with implementation of PBSPs
  • Assist with preparing appropriate data collection forms
  • Collect, enter, and graph ABA data (Descriptive and quantitative)
  • Assist with completion of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)- Observations, data collection, staff    interviews, and data graphing
  • Conduct preference assessments
  • Conduct and assist with ABA skill assessments for students
  • Provide guidance with implementing token economies and classroom-wide reinforcement systems
  • Assist staff with crisis intervention techniques
  • Lead or assist with leading crisis event debriefs
  • Support and model implementation of preventative and de-escalation strategies
  • Coach, support and assist staff with implementation of ABA interventions and data collection using Behavioral Skills Training (BST) or elements of BST 
  • Model the values and ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB and Soaring Heights Schools
  • Model and promote the use of a positive behavior intervention supports system
  • Participate in relevant meetings
  • Participate in RBT supervision sessions
  • Meet requirements to maintain RBT status in accordance with BACB regulations

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma/Equivalent is required. The new hire, will also need to have or obtain their Registered Behavior Technician Certification.
