Registered Nurse – Detox & Inpatient Treatment
Schedule: Full-Time, Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Pay Range: $33–$39/hour

Our non-hospital program in the Tidewater area offers 24/7 medically supervised services in a structured, supportive environment where clients thrive!

Position Overview:
We are thrilled to welcome a dedicated Registered Nurse to our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will provide exceptional care to individuals in our detox and inpatient programs, making a real difference in their recovery journeys. You will monitor clients, administer medications, and help foster a safe and structured recovery environment where healing can flourish.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial nursing assessments for new admissions
- Administer medications in accordance with treatment protocols
- Utilize and document COWS (Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale) and CIWA (Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment for Alcohol) as needed
- Monitor and document client progress
- Educate clients on prescribed medications
- Coordinate and support medical providers during assessments and medication management appointments
- Respond to medical emergencies following established protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
- 1 year of experience in acute care or outpatient settings
Preferred:
- Experience in a behavioral health treatment setting
- Background in substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders
