Substance Abuse Recovery Driver

Summary: Pyramid Healthcare Concord is seeking a dedicated Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting clients in early substance abuse and mental health recovery to various locations within the Southeast region, including NC, GA, and VA, where our programs are located. The Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring safe and timely transportation while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Pay: $15 - $16 per hour
Full Time w/ Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Transport clients to and from specified regional locations.
- Supervise clients during transport to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Perform housekeeping duties at specified locations when not transporting.
- Maintain all necessary documentation associated with transportation services provided.
- Respond to emergency situations effectively and promptly.
- Work independently while managing time efficiently.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. of force if necessary.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Experience preferred but not required.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to handle crisis situations responsibly.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Participate in company-offered training and development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
- Ability to interact well with diverse populations.
- Ability to make objective and ethical decisions.
