Transportation Supervisor

Shift:
Monday- Friday
7:00am - 3:30pm sometimes needing to stay till 4 or 5 and On-Call Every 4th Weekend
Responsibilities:
- Orientation, training and scheduling of drivers.
- Staff the Transportation Department, including the selection, orientation, training and scheduling of employees; supervise drivers
- Complete all required reports associated with the Transportation Department
- Receive transportation calls/inquiries.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Complete all required reports associated with the Transportation Department.
- Model appropriate driver skills to other drivers.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations.
- Ability to work alone.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of force, if necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience preferred, but not required.
- Team player; confidentiality; safety; excellent communication skills; effective interpersonal relationships; calm and decisive in crisis situations.
