Pyramid Healthcare Opens Prince George’s County Treatment Center

Altoona, Pennsylvania – January 13, 2025 – Pyramid Healthcare, Inc., one of the largest behavioral healthcare providers in the eastern U.S., announced today the launch of a new treatment facility in Bowie, Maryland.

Beginning January 13, adult men will be able to access ASAM level 3.5 residential treatment, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and programming for clients with co-occurring mental health conditions in a safe, structured environment. Treatment for adult women and ASAM level 3.7 medically supervised withdrawal management will be available in the near future.

Pregnant women, individuals with open wounds and clients without insurance are accepted at Prince George’s County Treatment Center.

Located at 3000 Lottsford Vista Road, the Bowie-based facility marks Pyramid Healthcare’s fifth location in the state of Maryland, where the organization also operates treatment centers in California and Charlotte Hall (St. Mary’s County) as well as Joppa in Harford County. Overall, Pyramid Healthcare’s network of affiliates encompasses more than 80 behavioral healthcare treatment locations for adults and adolescents throughout North Carolina, Georgia, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
