Pyramid Healthcare Introduces Integrated Gambling Addiction Treatment in Pennsylvania 

Pyramid Healthcare announced today the launch of integrated treatment services for individuals struggling with gambling-related challenges at select residential and outpatient treatment facilities in Pennsylvania. 

As gambling and sports betting become more easily accessible via online platforms and smartphone applications, compulsive gambling is on the rise across the nation, causing serious personal, financial and social harm to individuals and their families.  

Gambling addiction also increasingly co-occurs alongside mental health and substance use disorders. Recognizing the complexity of these overlapping conditions, Pyramid Healthcare’s integrative approach addresses gambling behaviors within the broader context of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. These services are designed to support whole-person recovery through evidence-based, clinically informed interventions delivered by experienced professionals who have earned Certificates of Competency in Problem Gambling from the Pennsylvania Certification Board. 

Integrated gambling addiction treatment will be available across multiple levels of care, ensuring individuals receive appropriate, coordinated treatment whether they are in residential, outpatient or virtual settings. Certified clinicians with specialized training in gambling-related disorders will play a central role in assessment, treatment planning and ongoing care, helping to identify and address the underlying drivers of compulsive behaviors. 

Silvermist, a premier residential mental health and substance use facility for men located near Pittsburgh in western Pennsylvania, will incorporate gambling-related support into its clinical offerings to further individualize care for each client. In addition, at the outpatient level of care, High Focus Centers will offer gambling support services as part of the treatment curriculum at locations across southeastern Pennsylvania. Virtual treatment options will also be available, increasing access for individuals with demanding schedules or limited transportation.
